Beef & Brocolli
A healthy rendition of one of my favorite dishes. Using quality sirloin and liquid aminos means this meal provides a big punch of protein. It is also deceptively easy to prepare!
Ingredients:
2 cups of rice
1 Sirloin Tip
3 cups broccoli
11/4 cup water
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/3 cup liquid aminos or soy sauce
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons honey
Directions:
Cook rice according to package directions, or in a rice cooker
steam broccoli
slice Sirloin into thin strips
heat a frying pan over medium heat
When pan is hot, add sirloin strips
sear both sides and remove from pan, repeat with the rest of the meat
In a bowl, combine 1 cup water, liquid aminos (or soy sauce), ginger, garlic, and honey
in another bowl, combine 1/4 cup water with cornstarch. mix until smooth
add cornstarch and water to sauce mixture
pour sauce mix into frying pan and heat until it begins to boil and thicken
add sirloin and broccoli to sauce and mix to combine
serve over cooked rice
optional: sprinkle with sesame seeds or hemp hearts
